Scott making the TV rounds in the 80’s to promote his resaurant in Tampa

Here is some lost early footage of Scott …way to serious…enjoy!

Scott and Alison Pope from Adel Iowa sent Scott some sweet corn via UPS and Adel is the “Sweet Corn Capital of the World”…This is my “thank you” to Scott and Alison….

In this Scott’s on Fifth Cooking segment Scott shows you how simple it is to make Basil Pesto

This show is very memorable because I was doing a radio spot on Friday morning for this radio station for a while..everything was good until …one Friday morning we were talking about chicken wings and Hotters .

I said it is easier and more tastey to make your own blue cheese dressing for wings at home, well the GM of the station was listening and did not like what I said or he only heard “easier or don’t like”….and BAM the studio door flies open and they physically removed me from the building…. I had NO idea blue cheese and chicken wings could get me in soooo much trouble.. These are the DJ’s John and Tammy in the Morning on Star98 that were in the booth with me!

In this episode the Capital Dish goes into the kitchen of Brad and Nikki Johnson ” Brad was the Quarterback of the Tampa Bay Bucs when they won the Superbowl” Nikki talks about meeting Brad and what it was like at the Superbowl that day. Scott and Nikki whip up some Tapas Party Dishes and Sangria for her friends.

Scott and Ayonna have been training for about 8 weeks now and the routine is finally getting together, Scott considers these training sessions ” BALLROOM BOOTCAMP”

If you would like to donate to the KLD Foundation in honor of SCOTT go to www.dancingwithbrevard.org and click on vote/donate for Scott. Scott’s on Fifth every year chooses a charity to actually participate and raise money for the community. Ayonna has been especially patient with me and deserves ALL the Credit. Thanks to Brad Stein for getting me out of the kitchen and learning to ”Burn the Floor”! You should try it!

CHA CHA CHA…..
